Time Out Retreat – somewhere to rest when travelling or somewhere to spend some time for healing the heart, mind and soul

Time out Retreat is my new wheel chair friendly, affordable b&b/self catering venture in the tiny mountain valley village of Derby in the North East of Tasmania, which has a population of around 150 residents.

We are 1.5hrs at most from Launceston (Airport), 2.5 – 3hrs from Devonport (seaport for the Spirit of Tasmania ferry to Melbourne) and 3.5hrs from Hobart.

It is a place where mum, dad and two other family members can take a break from travelling.

But it is also a place where therapies are offered for those wishing to rest, gather their thoughts and heal. We can offer Reiki/Energy Therapy, Aura Cleanse, Light massage, A look at Numerology and how it is affecting your life, Life Counselling and Hypnotherapy in a friendly environment.

Accommodation is in a separate chalet with a DB in the main living area and 2 bunks in a separate room (bedding supplied), 2 CD/DVD/Video players to keep everyone happy.

The kitchen is decked out for self catering plus there is a gas barbecue available.

A laundry is also available.

Tarriff of $80 pn for two people includes continental breakfast rations.

$10 per child over 5, and $20 for each additional adult. Breakfast rations available @$5 per adult $2.50 for kids

    To Cheryl and Noel,

Thanks for the great hospitality on our trip around Tasmania. We had a great time at the fundraiser and many thanks from the Peter Mac Foundation and us for the donation and heartfelt note that you left.

Just if you were interested, myself and Haydn made it all well and safe to Launceston from which we departed to go home. I think that it was just about time as we were truly worn out.
Michael continued on his trip, making it out to Strahan and then back east to Hobart all with a few days to spare and spend with his girlfriend.

Once again, the place is fabulous and your kindness did not go unnoticed. I hope all is well and the best of luck for the future.

    From Lachlan, Michael and Haydn.
